Talented musician and composer, Gideon Murray holds a Cum Laude Diploma in sound engineering from Cape Audio College and has engineered for some of South Africa’s most iconic musicians.
Murray spent the first four years of his career working as a professional musician in the United States as well as South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. Amongst many other notable successes is his engineering work on Busi Mhlongo’s platinum selling album, Amakholwa (The Believers) and the 2010 Fifa World Cup opening ceremony.
He has performed for crowds of more than 30 000 people and composed original soundtracks for national and international film projects. Murray has also played live with musicians such as Riana Nel, Retief Burger, Joe Niemand, Andriette Norman and many more.
